Liturgical Calendar

The Orthodox liturgical year is a cycle of feasts and fasts that commemorates the life of Christ and honors the saints.

Major feast days include Pascha (Easter), the Twelve Great Feasts, and the feasts of major saints.

Fasting periods include Great Lent, the Nativity Fast, the Apostles' Fast, and the Dormition Fast.
